touristsBaseball! The Club is heading to a Tourists Game

Friday, August 2, 6:35 p.m. We will have exclusive use of the Party Deck!

The Harvard Club of WNC is offering a night at the Asheville Tourists baseball game on Friday, August 2.  We have reserved the Party Deck for our exclusive use, which has 14 swivel seats, a drink rail, and the best views in the park at the top of section AA along the first base line.  The tickets are $33 per person, which includes a $14 food and beverage credit.  The game time is 6:35 pm against the Tourists' #1 rival the Hickory Crawdads.  Friday night also offers unlimited $1 hot dogs, Marvel Defenders of the Diamond activities, and an outstanding fireworks display after the game.  2024 is the 100th anniversary of the historic McCormick field, so you don't want to miss this event.

There are 14 tickets available. The limit is four tickets per person. Under 18 is fine. If we sell out, there is a possibility of adding more tickets, so if you get a "not available" when you try to buy a ticket, let me know so we can see if we can add a row or two.

You must log in to the Club website using your HarvardKey. Here is information regarding the HarvardKey. HarvardKey: https://alumni.harvard.edu/help/site-access/harvardkey

The S2 Bus is the public transit option.

Parking is limited directly around the ballpark. Here are the lots the Tourists recommend parking in:

- The parking lot in front of Memorial Field. Memorial Field is a city-owned facility located just above McCormick Field. This is free parking and has roughly 50 spaces available. This lot will fill up first and quickly on busy nights.

- The Minnie Jones Health Center lot. This is a doctor’s office located approximately 3 blocks away on Biltmore Avenue. This is also free parking and a short walk to the ballpark.

- Asheville Gastroenterology Associates. Located at 191 Biltmore Avenue and across the street from the ballpark.  This is also free parking across the street from the ballpark
